Do teachers need to download an app? ▾
No. SchoolTik works in any web browser on any phone or computer. No app download needed. The teacher portal is a PWA and can be added to the home screen if you like.
What if internet is slow or unavailable? ▾
Geofenced attendance and student attendance both support offline marking that syncs automatically when the connection is restored. Most pages load quickly even on 2G.
Is it available in Hindi? ▾
Yes — Hindi and English are fully supported. Each user can switch language from their profile. Translations cover all teacher and parent-facing screens.
Can government schools get it for free? ▾
We offer heavily subsidised pricing for government schools under state partnership programs. Contact our team for eligibility details.
Is student data safe and private? ▾
All data is encrypted, stored on Indian servers, and compliant with India's Digital Personal Data Protection (DPDP) Act 2023. We never share student data with third parties.
How long does setup take? ▾
Most schools are live within 1–2 days. Our onboarding team helps you import student data, set up logins, and trains staff over WhatsApp or a brief site visit.
How does geofenced attendance work? ▾
Each school sets its location and a geofence radius (default 100m). Teachers can only mark check-in/out from inside that radius — verified via browser GPS. Salary is calculated minute-by-minute based on the time they were inside.
Can I manage multiple schools from one account? ▾
Yes — the District Plan includes a Super Admin dashboard that lets you oversee up to 20 schools with aggregated reports.
